This characterful Italian white wine from the ancient town of Gravina boasts a rich history dating back to the 6th century BC. Its traditional grape varieties, originally from Asia Minor, found an ideal growing environment in Italy. The wine achieved DOP status in 1983 and is now exclusively produced by Botromagno, who exports it to over 11 countries worldwide.

The wine's composition consists of 60% Greco and 40% Malvasia grapes, with small amounts of Fiano and Bianco di Alessano permitted in the blend.

Gravina presents a captivating tasting profile, beginning with its sparkling straw-yellow colour adorned with greenish highlights. The bouquet is both fragrant and fruity, offering an enticing array of aromas including apple, peach, apricot, and pineapple. On the palate, it delivers a crisp and delicious experience, distinguished by a tangy acidity and a long, leisurely progression of flavours. Its versatile nature makes it an excellent companion to a variety of dishes, particularly complementing oysters, raw fish and shellfish, spicy soups, Asian cuisine, and light meats.
