After purchasing the distillery in 2015, Australian owner David Prior fully refurbished Bladnoch over 2 years before going back into production in 2017, the same year of its 200th anniversary. Steeped in history, this Lowland producer continues to produce fine whiskey.
‘Vinaya’, a Sanskrit word meaning respect and gratitude, pays homage to the founders of the distillery who paved the way, as Bladnoch looks forward to an exciting new era of production and innovation.
Matured in a combination of 1st fill Bourbon and 1st fill Sherry casks, producing notes of fresh apple, sweet floral grass and hints of chocolate with a light, refreshing peppery finish.
