After purchasing the distillery in 2015, Australian owner David Prior fully refurbished Bladnoch over 2 years before going back into production in 2017, the same year of its 200th anniversary. Steeped in history, this Lowland producer continues to produce fine whiskey.
The first Bladnoch range at 'Distiller's Strength' of 52.2% ABV. Matured in both Bourbon and New Oak casks showcasing the intensity and sweetness brought out from the maturation. Notes of fresh cut apples, toasted caramel, peppery spices and fresh oak flavours, finishing with a long, warming dryness.
