Since reopening in 1998, Benromach has been family-owned and has been producing rich, handcrafted Speyside single malt whisky in a style that was almost lost to time, with a delicate hint of smoke, a style of Speyside that was once common.

The most awarded whisky produced by Benromach, their 15-year-old, is truly the perfect balance between cask influence and the traditional subtle smoke characteristic of Benromach. After ageing in exclusively first-fill sherry and bourbon casks for 15 years produces notes of cracked pepper, charred oak, ripe apples, dark chocolate and forest fruits, finishing with a lingering rich sherried note and a touch of smoke
