Benriach 1997 19 Year Old Cask #8634 - UK Exclusive

Founded in 1898 by John Duff on the site of an old farm in the heart of Speyside, Benriach is one of Scotland's most characterful single malt distilleries. After closing just two years after opening due to the industry-wide Pattison Crash, it lay largely dormant for over six decades before being revived in 1965. Now regarded as a hidden gem among Speyside whiskies, they are renowned for producing three distinct styles: classic unpeated, highland peated, and triple-distilled.

This very limited release from the fantastic Benriach distillery, distilled in 1997 and aged for 19 years before a finishing period in dark rum barrels. Bottled at cask-strength and released in tiny numbers, just 266 bottles and all exclusively to the UK market.
