This is a wonderfully svelte Volnay from Bejamin Leorux. The red fruit glides across the tongue then gently blends with earthier tones on the mid palate alongside soft oak and more juicy red fruit. There's a subtle herbaceous touch too as well as some sweet leather, but the acidity is the standout element for us, perfectly pitched and beautifully balanced.
