A terrain that speaks. This is the philosophy on which the project that led to this label was based. The letters that make up the name represent the numerous parcels of land that were purchased to reconstruct Montebruna. They also refer to the fine-drawn lines of the poetry, arisen from the emotions of their writers.
Through this a link has been created between the vineyard and the verses to give voice to a landscape that has loads to tell.
Violet ruby red colour. Intense mouth feel, full-bodied and harmonious, with a long lasting finish. Excellent, well balanced, fragrant, pleasant to drink.
2019 vintage showing lovely maturity and a few years of development to come. I liked it's grippy plum skin style and ability to match a greasy meat dish. 4.5 really but that 15% alcohol pegs it back. High alcohol seems to be a trend in Barbera these days. Shame really..
