Felton Road Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2024

Felton Road is totally organic and biodynamic and has been across the three Bannockburn vineyards since 2005 and certified by Demeter in 2009. The viticultural regime is purportedly making a significant difference to the health and strength of their vines over many of their neighbouring vineyards. The vineyards in the Bannockburn region have a northerly exposure to help maximise ripeness. This is very important as Central Otago is the most southerly wine making region in the world and therefore the coldest. Here, vineyards are nestled into small macroclimates totally surrounded by high mountains, many of which are snow capped all year round. A nose of faint florals and spices of cinnamon and clove. The palate opens with the florals leads to fresh berries and a pleasing seam of minerality.
