Ardbeg Corryvreckan takes it name from a whirlpool which exists to the north of the island of Islay. Intense & powerful on the nose with lashings of tarry ropes,lineseed oil & sea salt spray. Initially the palate is one of tangy spicy pepper & crisp seaweed followed by espresso coffee, dark fruits & bitter almonds.
