Anselmo Mendes

Pardusco Private is a red wine made exclusively from the ancient grape variety Alvarelhão, known locally as Brancelho. Through the old Portuguese traditions, it is a red wine that ages for a long period of time in used oak barrels. After vinification in stainless steel deposit, the wine is aged for 24 months in used oak barrels. A very original red wine, silky and with strong minerality. 

Pale ruby colour. On the nose intense aromas of red fruits, strawberry and cherry. Soft cedar aroma from the long aging in barrels. On the palate, dry with chocolate and leather notes masked by the strong acidity.
