anCnoc 12 Year Old Whisky

Knockdhu Distillery, established in 1894 in the Scottish Highlands, has endured a turbulent history while keeping its distillation process largely unchanged. Drawing water from the natural springs of the nearby Black Hill (Knockdhu in Gaelic), it produces its whisky under the name anCnoc — unusually distinct from the distillery's own name.

The the whisky made by the team known locally as 'Men of Knock', led by Distillery Manager Gordon Bruce, has earned worldwide acclaim, with the 12 Year Old expression widely regarded as a smooth, complex, and essential addition to any whisky collection.

Tasting Notes: Soft and very aromatic with a hint of honey and lemon in the foreground. Sweet on palate to start with an appetising fruitiness and a long smooth finish. Light yet complex, smooth yet challenging. This is a dram that has something for everyone, excellent value for money and the ideal starting point for anyone wanting start getting in to whisky.
