Alheit Vineyards, Hereafter Here, Chenin Blanc

Since entering the wine scene in 2011, Chris and Suzaan Alheit have consistently been one of the most talked-about success stories of South Africa. They are known for constantly aiming to push the boundaries of every wine they produce.

Hereafter is the biggest production of Chenin Blanc that Alheit has produced, predominantly made from young vine parcels. This Chenin Blanc is aged in neutral oak for 12 months and a further 6 months in tanks, showing great maturity for a predominantly young vine cuvée.

It produces juicy aromas of red apples, lemon balm and honey with bright zesty notes, accompanied by a rich nuttiness on the finish.
