10,000 Violetas, 1,000 Colorados, Ver Sacrum

This utterly beautiful wine from Ver Sacrum, a wild yeast co-fermentation of 60% Mencia, 20% Garnacha, 17% Carignan and 3% Viognier made in a combination of small concrete vats and old / neutral French oak barrels. 

Vivid, bright ruby red, aromas of ripe red cherries, fresh mint leaf, asparagus, black tea and garam masala. On the palate it is fresh, finely textured and floral, with a long and elegant finish.
