Château La Gaffelière boasts an exceptional location, with its 25-hectare vineyard facing south. The majority—22 hectares—forms a single plot nestled between the renowned Châteaux Ausone and Pavie. The terroir varies, with calcareous clay on the hillsides and sandier soil on the lower slopes. The vineyard's composition is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.

Medium bodied and very elegantly balanced, this 2015 vintage Bordeaux offers a velvety texture and abundant red and black fruit flavours. Its bouquet entices with herbal notes. 

Ideal food pairings include duck breast, mushroom risotto, and cheese.
