Bladnoch Samsara

After purchasing the distillery in 2015, Australian owner David Prior fully refurbished Bladnoch over 2 years before going back into production in 2017, the same year of its 200th anniversary. Steeped in history, this Lowland producer continues to produce fine whiskey.

Samsara, meaning ‘rebirth’, is a full-bodied and fragrant blend of malts matured in ex-Bourbon and ex-Californian red wine casks. With notes of vanilla cream, floral, and fresh-cut apples on the nose. Thick vanilla fudge on the palate with sweet floral grass. The finish is rich, mouth-coating yet really fresh too.
