Marcel Deiss Gewurztraminer Grains Noble 2003 50CL

What a treat we have here, a dessert Gewurzt with two decades worth of age. Not only that it was crafted by one of the most iconic names in the Alsace, Marcel Deiss. The complexities of this wine are endless. On release, powerful notes of honey drizzled tangerine, apricot and electrifying candid fruit. Over the years more layers of complexity build, a savoury honeyed note begins to emerge alongside warming sweet spice. Amazingly, despite the age, it's still so fresh, with undoubtedly and decade or more in tank for further development.
