Emiliana is one of the world’s most important producers of organic and biodynamic wines and the largest in South America. Their spectacular biodynamic vineyard and winery at Los Robles is a model that attracts visiting viticulturalists and winemakers from all over the world.
The grapes were hand-picked and transported to the winery for immediate chilling and passed on to a bladder press for whole bunch pressing. The must was allowed to decant and the clean juice was racked into stainless steel tanks for partial fermentation and then racked again into to new French oak barrels to finish the fermentation. The wine remained in barrels on its lees with periodic battonage for 5 months to add complexity. Prior to bottling the wine was fined with bentonite and cold stabilized to prevent the formation of tartrate crystals.
Golden yellow colour. The nose has fruity aromas such as peach, apricot, some white fruit with notes of freshly ground nuts In the mouth it is a soft, fresh, creamy wine of great depth and persistance.
