Tatay de Cristobal, Von Siebenthal, 75cl
Tatay De Cristobal 1492 is pure Carménère from 17-year-old vines on sandy soils. The wine is fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts and matured in French oak barrels for 25 months. The nose shows a strong note of smoked paprika, very balsamic with plenty of roasted aromas of coffee and dark chocolate, over a core of ripe black berries, earth, spices and hummus, with something organic and hints of ink, quite complex. This is a complex wine with a powerful palate, plenty of charred flavors, persistent and still young.
