The husks used are from organically grown walnuts which are gathered, in compliance with traditions, on 24th June, Saint John’s Day, when they have become ripe, but their woody shell has not developed yet.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAt this point walnuts are cut into 4 slices with large scissors and then macerated in quality 95° alcohol with added cloves, cinnamon sticks, sugar\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eand water. The infusion is macerated for approximately 60 days, and every day it is stirred with a wooden stick.
