La Spinetta Colli Tortonesi Timorasso

Before we'd even tasted this wine we loved the weight and shape of the bottle, almost unnecessarily chunky and heavy but in a world where we're seeing wine 'bottles' made from paper this felt like a proper wine and a real occasion before you've even opened it!

Indigenous to Piemonte the Timorasso grape is an intriguing proposition. In its youth its incredibly bright, bouncy and light on its feet with clean citrus and mouthwatering minerality but with age it become a much more layered, deep and complex wine. Our Suggestion would be buy six, drink three now and 3 in 5-10 years time.
