Today only 11 bottlings remain commercially available, making Flora \u0026amp; Fauna increasingly sought-after among collectors and connoisseurs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFounded in 1835 near Aberlour in Speyside, Benrinnes is one of the few Scottish distilleries still using worm tubs to cool its spirit vapours — a slower method said to produce a richer, more full-bodied character. The distillery is also notable for having used an unusual partial triple-distillation process between the 1970s and 2007, before returning to conventional double distillation — making the Flora \u0026amp; Fauna 15 Year Old a rare historical record of that distinctive production method. With virtually all of Benrinnes' output destined for blends such as Johnnie Walker and J\u0026amp;B, and no distillery tours available, this bottling is one of very few chances to experience it as a single malt: Rich and sweet,  but with impeccable balance.
