Sauvignon Blanc, Kintu
Description
Kintu wines come from the Maule valley where the low hills and plains have been important for viticulture for the last two hudred years. The word Kintu means fine view and in a land as beautiful and stunning as Chile, it's hardly surprising the local dialect has many such words. As with many of Chile's wine regions, the Maule valley has a cooling ocean breeze and misty mornings that allow the grapes to maintain their natural acidity whilst attaining full ripeness. The sauvignon blanc is crisp and dry with hints of tropical fruits, green gooseberries and ripe lemons on the nose and plenty of refreshing acidity on the palate.
