The Domaine has two plots of land in the southern part of the village where table wine is made. No pebbles or rounded stones, only lime and soil composed of alluvium. This is where traditionally all the vine-growers had their table wine vines. As a matter of fact the parcels of land are divided into smaller plots than elsewhere in the village. It is mainly composed of grenache, cabernet sauvignon, syrah, carignan and cinsault. This is the table wine of Domaine de Marcoux, they only produce approximately 3600 bottles every year. The name “Raisin de Loup” is the common name for a weed called the black Nightshade, which grows on this silty, clayey soil.
